OK please no flamming I am asking this question because I am a bit confused[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] I did a search on Altezza Grills and a Search on RS Grills. People have asked were is the best place to buy them. Some say Ebay and Some Said RS Versions.com. Now as I was searching these sight I kept seeing grills Some of them said RS Type Grills that had no RS on the front of them ( the Red RS) and some that did. Also while I was searching I saw that some people explained that the RS is sold in the Phillipines and is a sedan. OK I have a silver LX Coupe so naturally I fell like getting a grill made for a Sedan is out of the question. Now I also saw a JDM typr R grill. But I have yet to see were the discription of the grill to buy is called Altezza. Again please no flamming I am just confused.

My question is: is altezza just the style of an RS grill without the RS actually on the grill or is it it's own type. If so can you hook me up with some links so that I can get a better understanding of this whole thing.

Ok I admit it I am new to the game but I am willing to learn. And I also search memebers cars to see what they looked like on my car but damn you how many cars I was looking threw. I also saw that durring my search some information was very helpfull to me in this. I saw that the radiator cover will not fit with the grill and leaves a gap between the grill and the hood. Then as I searched some more I saw that it could be fixed by getting a radiator cover for a sedan. See I did do some research before asking this question. I just am not quiet clear on the different types of grills.

Thx Guys. Now is there any websights besides Ebay and RSversions.com that sell these.

And the one that is on ebay says Type R not Altezza. So is altezze just the style the the grill is made thats what I am confused about. Sorr I guess I really sound like a noob. and how would carbon fiber look on a Silver coupe

Yeah, basically alteeza is the style. That's the plain version with no embles. Ones like the RS should have the RS emblem unless it was removed. There are plenty of places that sell them, but you're not going to find prices any better than that unless you get a used one.

Thx for the explination about that. So basically Altezza is just the style of grill that has nothing on it, just a plan clean grill.. Now would a carbon fiber look ok on a Silver coupe. and if not, would a plain black one look ok. I know that this is a question that is based on the opinion of others but if you all have some pics that would be a great help.
And what are some other sights that sell them

on my altezza grill i painted the outer part and left the center black, but i ditched that one and got an open mouth grill that nobody else seems to have and im selling it if your interested!

Question... why is Tornactive selling the gril for $50, and ebay is $20? Is it the material different? Just a question.

Nope, they're the same item. Not sure if Tornactive charges shipping, but the one on ebay has a shipping charge of $14, so you're looking at $34 shipped for that one.

Actually, Tornactive was having a group buy on the alteeza grille for something like $30 shipped. Not sure if it's still going on, but it's in the group buy section.

hey tricky, i like your grill a lot, the only thing i dont like is that SI emplem, your car isnt a SI unless you got an engine swap, and in that case i give you props. Cars looking very good though, keep it up

Heh, thanks for that link to that eBay seller. I just bought one from him, and only for $34 total. Which is way better than the $49 + around $16 shipping from Tornactive. Since that group buy didn't go through, I got refunded my $29 and only had to pay an extra $5 for the grill off of eBay. w00t.

Yea so I like the grill with the H emblem & RS logo but im not into saying I have things that I do not. What does RS actually stand for?? Racing Style?? Is it some other model of the car from another country? I just don't want to look like some idiot with hx emblems on the back and then say for example a huge type r sticker on the front, heh.
