Exactly how loud is the Tanabe cat-back?

Do you guys wake up your neighbors when you come home?
Is it really loud at idle?
How would you compare it to other exhausts?
Can anybody post a clip?
Where is the cheapest price? Speed & Style.com?

Thanks!

first-1.com is cheaper, but when you calculate shipping into it, it might come out a little more, since speedandstyle has free shipping. just letting you know in case the clearance sale on speedandstyle ends.

The other day I posted a topic trying to find what the Tanabe cat back exhaust sounded like. No one gave a sound clip...not even the one that was emailing everyone so generously with sound clips of Tanabe. I even pm that person. Nothing. So how can someone not ask a question....even it is a repost about something no one will help out with?

I already PMed him and haven't gotten a response yet. I've listened to the clips, but there isn't one for the Tanabe. I haven't seen any other threads that have answered all of my questions, which is why I posted this. Yes I did a search. It seems like a lot of people are more interested in criticizing than helping lease:

Wish I had the ability to post a clip, but I don't. I had the Tanabe hyper installed about a week ago and I'm very pleased with the way it sounds....not too loud. Just nice and deep. I can't get over how nice it looks on my silver EX. If you're inside the car, it sounds like stock when idle. Rev it and you'll know it's there!

When driving, it's definitely not the annoyingly loud type that wakes ppl up. I got mine installed for 580 at a local ricer shop. I'd say it sounds pretty close to the Greddy EVo clip....maybe a tad louder.

The Tanabe Rspec is loud enough to hear inside the cabin but not too loud, its not gonna wake anyone up its a low deep throaty sound. ITs awesome. I love my RSpec, have a pic in members ride if you want to check it out

Cool...thanks

I was just waiting for Red Dragon to respond

I think I'm gonna get this exhaust after I get my rims...It seems like the best choice.

Thanks for the help!

I have it also...it's loud enough. You can be heard comin down the street, all my friends think it's crazy loud, but its not...one of my friends calls it a "greeting card" cause he hears me coming down his street so he just goes and opens his front door for me to come in. but its nothing at all like all the obnoxiously loud things you hear, its enough to be heard, but yet if you want, you can keep it quiet so that cops dont get all over you for it.

Cool...looks like it's exactly what I'm going for then.

I don't want to be waking all my neighbors up when I come home at 3 AM...
