ok i have a friend at the Honda Dealership and he was saying that is no such thing as a RSX Type R engine. he said that it is a Type S Engine. i checked at hmotorsonline.com and it shows the K20A as a Type R. Can someone clarify it?

Tell your friend at the Honda Dealership, to just go ahead and quit since he has no clue.
The K20A (Type-R) is the engine from the Japanese market. The Type-S is the US version which has less power than the Type-R..

You gotta know, most people who work at Honda Dealer doesnt know sh**, i asked a guy at my local honda dealer to see how much will a 01 civic OEM body kit cost, he replied, "I'm sorry, i dont think they have a kit for your car." Can u believe that? BTW, that question was asked by me, 2 months ago

It must be the dealership in your area then cuz the one I work at, they seem to know a pretty fair amount. Not to mention there is a local Car Club whom is sponsored by the dealership so they're very familiar with the import world.
