Question Bumps on 2003 Aero Side Skirts?

I got my side skirts in last night, and immediately put them on the car. Once I had the left one on, I started checking in the right light to see if it had any imperfections ( much like if you were looking for a small dent, you have to standing in a place where the light hits the body just right ). I noticed that all the way up and down the side skirt there seems to be, what looks like, indentations. Though I don't feel them when my fingers over the parts.. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it normal? After I noticed it on the first one, I went to look at the second one (right out of the wrapping) to make sure I hadn't done it. To my surprise the other one also had the "indentations". Maybe it's made like this so it can mold itself more to the body when it gets warm? I really have no idea, but I would appreciate feedback about this. It's made of ABS plastic, if that helps any.
