Whats the difference?

ok... whats the difference... why do they make 5 speed and Auto intakes? why dosent 1 intake work for both auto and 5 speed... like in INJENS case... the race division it has auto and 5 speed... thanx guys[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

on the CAI extension, there's an arm (Bracket). It's in a different location for 5spd and auto. I think it's because the auto tranny thingie is hugeee or something..

If you've really tried to put on a auto intake into manual youll realize the way its bent etc is same if not 100% exact...umm only difference I noticed when my buddy tried this was the screws that bolt the intake directly down to your car, that was slightly off other than that nothing...either honda etc needs to jus make all their cars the same with diff trannys etc and locate bolts etc in same places or AEM and Injen etc need to jus find a better place for us to bolt our s**t down to
