I know that a lot of people have had bad luck with Piaa and they're expensive, but the new Plasma Spark Blues (7500k) and the Super Plasma GT-X (5000k) have to be the best looking bulbs I have ever seen, even compared to real HID. Yeah they are way to expensive, but if you want the best looking bulb, go with one of those. If you do decide to go with the new Piaa, clean them with alchol before you install them. My friend has had some in his car for over a year and a half. Here's the link to the bulbs: Sigma Automotive

I like the H4's on stock housings. Don't your projectors use H3?

If you can't afford HID go with CUZO or MTEC. Personally I have never tried MTEC, but I do have CUZOs. I have tried every other bulb except MTEC and my CUZOs are by far the brightest I have seen. I have even compared them next to my boys BMW HID's and they are very close.

would a CATZ HID H1 conversion kit fit inside the TYC projector without modification?

If a halogen H1 will fit, then the CATZ HID will fit.
