soap and water the crap in the windex will start to discolor your intake. Or at least thats what happened to my friends intake. I just use saop and water man

Take a sqiurt bottle, one of the big ones that windex comes in or something like that, put about an inch or so of Pine Sol in it, fill the rest with water. Soak your filter with it, let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then take a garden hose and rinse the filter off from the inside then let it sit for about 45 minutes to dry. It works.

lol no offence but.. pine sol, windex, and anything else BESIDES RINSING WATER ON UR FILTER WILL RUIN IT. haha the FILTER material is very easy to mess it up ,believe it or not. Your ALWAYS SUPPOSED TO RINSE FROM INSIDE OUT AND YOU MUST USE OIL AFTER YOU CLEAN [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-nono.gif[/IMG] OTHERWISE THE FILTER WORKS LIKE CRAP. YOU NEED THE FILTER LUBED SO THAT THE DIRTY CATCHES AND THE AIR FLOWS

/JUST GO BUY THE RECHARGE KIT FOR 10 BUCKS and clean the pipe with WHATEVER
