border line altezza?
im not a fan of altezza lights, but im so sick of the horseshoe/magnet look that i started looking around, i found these nice ones that are real cheap. theyre the solid red ones- the halo/ring ones. theyre up on ebay for only $109!! what do u think? does anyone know if these have probs with leaking? anyone have pics of this lit up in the dark? i wish that the bigger circle wasnt cut off by the smaller one, it would look 100x better. oh well, thats easier to live with than the horseshoe cant win em all

i just realized "shoe" has a rediculous spelling. pronounced shue, or shew, or shoo. maybe that justifies why my parents havent mastered the english language in the 34 yrs theyve been here

Those look alright, but pretty soon you'll notice that every other import will have tails like that. Thats why I got rid of my chrome altezzas. I'm just waiting on the box with my EDM tails to come.....its been 3 weeks already.

I think the OEM ones look better than all aftermarket tail lights I've seen so far. Everything looks the same except for carbon, chrome. clear but basically the same tailight. Gotta give em a

Paul had jsut installed his pair when he came out to install fogs this past saturday and i have to admit the red lens angel eye tails look sooooo much better than OEM, they dont look ricey or anything at all, very clean, very impressive. Just DONT hook up the halos cuz they suck ***. Other than that they are definitely worth the money. I would have to say if there were a JDM coupe, those would be my image of the stock tails there compared to what the JDM sedan tails look like.
i have those red one and they fit perfect, the only thing wrong with mine is the halo on the signal light doesn't work when my friend try to connect it or when he tried a 12 volt battery to see if it would work and didn't.

I sure do get tired of posting the same info regarding these lights over and over, but whatever:
I have those taillights. I am very happy with them, the look great and fit well, although recently the driver's side one has had some visible condensation in the reverse-light area. I've had them for around 4 months or so. I got them off of eBay from x3racing.com, but you can buy directy from them for $115. To find them, goto their website, select 'Altezza Tail Light', then 'Honda', then 'Civic', and they are the last item on that page.
I have movies of them (with the 3157 LED buld in the blinkers) here:
Rear Blinker (Headlights on)
Rear Blinkers
Rear Blinkers (Headlights on)
Rear Blinkers (Parking lights on)
Rear Taillights on
And many pics of them on my car's webpage here. You can also see pics of them in my Member's Ride page.

Now that I have these lights, I almost would rather the more unique and very distinct OEM style, however I want to at least do a full LED conversion which would make them look even better I think. I am also trying to think of perhaps making them light up a bit differently, but use a similar pattern. Also, I dont like the Euro style OEM tails on darker color cars, especially EBP, cause the added Clear part is not as good looking as the red IMO.
I'm keeping my APC CF Altezzas. No leaky after a year and most everybody likes them. The little silver masonic emblem I have on the outside makes a nice shadow pick when the lights are on.
The only tail lights I really don't like are the chrome ones that you see all over the place.

I like the CF ones Bartkat. I'm prolly getting the Hiper CF's for my ride. I dont know why everyone disses the altezza's so much especially since half the people talking all the sh*t used to own a pair. If you own a Honda you need to get used to the fact that people are gonna have things that are similiar or excatly the same thing that you have. The only reason people hate them so much is because everyone and their grandma has altezza's....not to mention that I've seen plenty old folk pimping the same model Civic as we all have. Instead of hating on things so bad why don't you guys figure ways to make yours unique??? Unless you do DYI's, if your buying aftermarket parts your bound to have the same thing as someone else anyway...
