injen cold air intake...good?

i was thinking of getting a injen cold air intake for my 02 civic ex auto. i wanted an AEM but they dont make one for automatics, only short rams and i dont want to suck in hot air. my question is, is injen a good intake? i've seen their ads but they have no DYNO results, or does anyone know of a better cold air intake? also what kind of horsepower gain could i expect, naturally since i have an automatic i'm not expecting burn out speed gains.

yeah but what were you guys driving? autos or 5 speeds? if your driving manuals, it doesnt matter what parts you have on it (when your driving cars pretty similar in HP) it all comes down to the drivers. an air intake may not give you neck breaking speed you can feel but almost any aftermarket cold air intake will give you an average of atleast 6-10 HP gain. and thats all i'm looking for.

Yes Injen is a good intake. It's right up there with AEM. I have an Injen CAI and I definitely felt a power increase after I had installed it.

I have the Injen CAI on my 5-speed and to tell you the truth, my gains are minimal. But it does sound real nice and dresses up the engine bay quite well. No intake will give you the advertise gains BTW.

Quote. The advertised gains are the sum of all the gains AND losses over the powerband. Just so it's a final added HP gain doesn't mean it's an overall gain at the wheels.
