Remove resonator??

anybody who removed resonator how did you attach the lil inatke pipe to the filetr housing? i tried to remove a friends yesterday and we had it off but culdnt attach the pipe to the filter housing the oval wouldnt fit in circle.

hahahaha you really wanna know uh riley. im the friend like he said it jsut wouldnt fit. if you take the resonator off will you gain anything or lose anything or it justs louder?

Just leave it on. It makes no difference. You might lose like 1/2 a HP cuz you'll be sucking in more hot air..

you loss low an torque i think as well when you remove that. not really worth it i dont think. and if you do do it, i dont think you have to reattach that intake pipe.

When I was installing my Injen SRI, they had packed the wrong part, so I had to put the stock airbox back on and wait for the new piece to be shipped. Anyway, they said to just leave the airbox without the "snorkel" attached, it doesn't serve a purpose without the resonator. Guess they figure you're sucking in hot air either way. It's definately louder, although it felt like the car lost some power.
