What's up? I was going to have KMS install the manifold and TB, but I think it would be simple to do myself. Plus, I enjoy doing things myself. It's a hobby for me. Save your money for the install...I'll be glad to help you out. C-ya
cool! i just ordered their last manifold! i cant wait to get home. i have access to a lift, bay, and every tool. Sound good? Would you be willing to come by after I get back to help me install all the things I've purchased? That would be cool.

I't;s not bothering when you're just trying to find out what's going on with goods he promised would be shipped by the 28th of March.Something funny with that...it is now 2 weeks past that deadline
which...
ultimately means he forgot to include an aspect in the design process.... or that's my hypothesis anyway. Don't forget to post follow ups to manifold. I'm interested in the bored TB also. The more info the better.
I just got a e-mail from John today. Here's what he had to say:
They are starting to be released one by one. They are hand assembled and welded and this process takes a while. Just hang in there and don't give up your place in line because we will not be building these again. There was not enough demand for the product. It has taken a little more time to fill the orders than we had thought at first,

I don't remember him promising a specific date on the release. He just told us that it might be ready at a certain time. You have to have patience when you have custom work done because you wouldn't want a product that dosen't function correctly.

Actually, he did give an exact ship date...March 28th, I talked to him personally. As for the email, after emailing him this morning, I got the same exact one. If there's going to be a delay, then he should keep us in the loop at the very least...we are paying customers(well at least half)...that's all I'm saying.

I am still confident. Delays are part of the manufacturing process. especially on a stuff made in house. its not like he can just punch them out in minutes. I don't mind a little time ....as long as the product lives up to expectations... quality fit ect. I wonder what number I am.
yea i trust kms...and i dont know if they realize that after you guys get the manifolds there is going to be a bigger demand...because im sure you guys will be impressed...Ive talked with some member on here who does have a custom manifold and hes VERY happy with it.
I also trust KMS...You have to be patient when it comes to custom work. I knew that it would take a while, but it always does with this kind of stuff. It will be worth the wait, I'm sure!!!
I sent some information to a shop down in georgia atlanta...
My manager at where i work said they can make anything,
so I sent him some info about making a custom manifold, just like the kms's...
i sent him some info on what we want and what it should look like....And i made sure to tell him that how many people would I need to get a price around 400...But this is just in the first phase..
I just wanted to let you guys know what i am doing so you know to potentially save up for it...
If this happens it will happen end of summer

Living in Georgia, I called John at KMS and asked about the manifold and he said that it would in fact work for the Ex and Lx. He said it would work with all the factory parts too. This manifold costs $500-(250 down 250 when it arrives) Since this won't be available later on due to lack of demand, I asked him what would he consider to be on the waiting list. He said (for those of you that don't have the full $500) you could pay $250 and that would guarantee that you get it. Then when it comes, you would pay the other $250. That gives me a break anyway-hope it does for you all too!
Actually it's in Covington Georgia. xmeeksx- He said he has eight more and that if you call him (number is on first page of thread) within the next 2-3 weeks you can still be put on the waiting list or he might tell you that you could wait even longer if he still has manifolds left. I think he said the next shipment would arive in about two months-(which allows you more time for the other $250-
). After that, you can just forget about it because they will stop manufacturing them.
