I was going to post the same thing!
Since i can't get the pic, I'll try to describe it. Here it goes...
It looks like the skunk or Venom intake manifold, BUT the TB will still be mounted vertically (there's a big hole in the top, so I assume that's where it will be located)

Hopefully it will, but intake manifold design is a complex thing. Here's a simple article: Fabricating an Intake Manifold for a Ford Turbo 2.3 Here's one explaining wave action tuning: Tech Briefings Here's one on fabrication: How to Fabricate an Intake Manifold[hr]

To who ever said that about my responce, you are worthless piece of **** that doesn't know their *** from a hole in the ground. you clearly don't know the first f*****g thing about cars and you would only help this world out by drinking some bleach. Its people like you that cause other people to hate people who put power into their cars because you send the image that now one knows what they are talking about just like your sorry losser ***. before you open you big f*****g pie hole maybe you should have some clue about what you are talking about you inbread sack of ****, stop f*****g your dog long enough for your pea sized brain to do something usefull, the only good part of your existance is that I need people like you too cook my hamburgers.
PS, thanks again Grey
I just called them and, DAMN.
Not only do they make an intake manifold for the new civics, but they make a block gaurd, pistons, piston rings, rods, and pretty much anything you need. **drool** I hope they sleeve blocks too. Other wise there is no point in doing all of that and boosting high boost, unless you just want an insurance plan on your motor.

I didn't quote your post, just so you would have a chence to delete your flaming diatribe. I've read ths entire thread and see nothing that suggests that it was called for. No need for that here.

You're one of the few people on this site that isn't a hassle to deal with. You and maybe a total of 10 others. I don't visit this site very often now adays what with my busy school schedule. But when I do its just thread after thread of the same 6 questions. It seems to me that people would learn after the first few times the answer to their question(s). I don't ask many questions (none lately) because I know no one hear has the answers to them. When I try to help out what do I get? 16 year old smartasses, I don't post unless I know the information I am giving is correct, I have sense discovered that is not the attitude of 99% of the members of this site. Legitimate questions and answers are few and far between around here. I know I'm not the only one that sees this, I remember a few post by people saying they are leaving the site and everyone here rips on them. I have posted several solutions to different problems just to see the same damn question asked again a few days later. I'm by no means a super genius but dealing with these people that have a room tempature IQ got old real fast. The gift of common sense would completely do way with the need for this site. When I did have a real question last time I looked it up on the site, found a number of other people that had the same question and none of the answer made any sense because no one clearly knew what they were talking about (I'm not saying I"m the worlds best car expert either, thats why I had the question in the first place) so I was left to solve it myself. Turns out with this problem not a single answer was right. this is already getting really long so I won't go into it. I'll rap this up. Diatribe, I doubt many people knows what that means, this too has long past reached that point. I will not delete my previous post, but will in the future watch the comments, as everyone else should.
I know some might say I should just leave the site if it bugs me....blah blah blah, half the people on this site pull the same bad attitude I have and I don't see them leaving. I'll leave it at that instead of making this much longer.
Diatribe: (basicly) a long annoying negitive rant about my personal feelings that pretty much didn't need to be said
cdmx, sleeving a block if pretty much replacing the cylinder walls with better, stronger material so that they can take increased pressure. it's a machining process that takes some special tools.

I get irritated too. There are way too many smartass remarks and far too few that will search for an answer. It seems every noob and some not so noobs think they have to think up some 'unique" question and start a thread instead of finding and posting in an already existing thread. I have the luxury of taking my frustrations out on political message boards, so that helps.
Boards like this are a concentrated microcosm of life. I've run into similar situations and people everywhere I have worked or been involved. Human nature, I guess. So hang in there and don't let the loonies run you off. I know how the stress of schooll and work can be tiring and wearing, I used to get calls in the middle of the night from supervisors with some of the dumbest questions. It would really **** me off. Since I'm retired now, I can look back at some of that and laugh.
And thanks for the thughtful reply.

I just called John today and ordered my intake manifold. He said he's only taking 6 more orders. It will be a lttle more detailed than the initial pic. He's CADing it up now.It will have all the attachments for your current manifold just no more plastic(yay)It is 250 now and 250 when he ships it, which will be around the 28th of March.Cheers and I will post pics and results once it's installed!
Shambler,
I called him yesterday, and he said that he wouldn't give out any gains and such until later into the development process. Since I go to school about 2hours away, I'm going to have them install it, and hopefully dyno it before and after. This is the link to KMS Engineering. To answer the other question, I'm pretty sure an existing cold air intake would work. Call KMS Engineering, 770-784-1801, and ask for John to make sure.

when I talked to John I asked the intake question and he said no problem The manifold will leave the throttle body at the same hieght so there will be no intake hitting hood issues.

I just got off the phone with John at KMS and as some of you may already know, the intake maniflod will be done hopefully late next week. I also asked him about a bigger throttle body and he told me that we can send ours in and he will replace with a factory one that they has been bored out. The throttle body will flow 65mm of air and the cost is $175.00

I haven't even thought about asking him about other internals. I'm intrested in a new or grinded cam shaft. If anyone has gotten details let us know.
