Altezza grill, does it need painting, and can it be painted? I was looking at the ones off of ebay, can they look like CF, can i paint it, or do i need a different one to paint.

Thanks,

I know you're a newer member, but if you searched, you'd find tons of info on this subject

many people have painted it like myself, and others left it the way it comes, usually black

Thank you,

I will try to look. But in time savings sake, is it possible to paint yourself, or is it best done at a shop, how much did you pay?

I just kept my altezza grill unpainted, since it looks good. Others have the lip painted, and you can search through member rides for pics. BTW, a honda body shop quoted $110 just to paint the lip. Not worth it, and it looks fine if you leave it black. It's shiny black plastic.

yah painting the lip and leaving the rest black looks really good, I think if you get colour matched paint you can do it yourself?

yea.. spend a little money and have the pros do it. i paid the honda shop $75 to paint the trim only (w/o warranty), but it looks perfect.

I just ordered my altezza grill off ebay too....should be coming mon or tues....but anyways, I have a NBP coupe. Do you think its worth it to paint the lip black? would it make a big difference? Anyone got pics with an unpainted grill on a NBP coupe? Thanks

it probably wont matter on a black car since it is black anyways. I have a green car and I got one and it just didn't look right until I painted it. Now it looks awesome. I paid $50 and I have the left over paint that my body shop got from honda.
