Important Exhaust Question

I want to get a cat back exhaust, but I dont want to spend $500 for one. Anyone have some suggestions on which one/s I should get, and should I remove the cat as well? I am newbie when it comes to cars, and Im learning, so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I have the HP JSpec axle back which sounds really good with stock piping. I'm now getting the midsection to complete it from thecivicstore. Nopi and thecivicstore.com both sell HP. Nopi has it for 389.00, you would have to contact thecivicstore.com to see what price they can give you on the full system.

i got my magnaflow cat back for 300 today and i got itinstalled in my car. i got mine put in at a local exhaust store. I had a couple problems. First was that the resonater pipe that connects tot he muffler was not flush and each one was a different diameter so when we put the clamp down. it bent the pipe to fit around the resonator. So be careful of that. Then the muffler sits write on the bumper in the back. Also the midpipe clamp hangs down, so just turn it to the side. That was my least of concerns. Other then that, its a great exhaust. i love the low end sound, and when ur going fast, its a smooth ride and u dont have to worry about that loud rattling or noise, nice smooth ride. i'd recommend it. I wish it all fit a little bettter. Remeber u cant lower ur car with it cuz of the clamp. The guy started to drill part of it off and all, but couldn't do it all. Goodluck with urs.

So if my car is lowered, which it is a little, the Magnaflow exhaust is going to scrape? And if so, what is it going to scrape?

If so, what should I get? I want some sound and a little gain in power, but dont want to spend $500.
