from what i've heard, it gets rid of the vibration and keeps ur ss in place so that it wont move and wont break. i think there more sturdier then your plastic ones. Hows your revo ss, im thining of gettin one. Is there really a big difference in shifting or not really?

Capyoda's bushings are great. They're basically the same as the kumosport but half the price. For $16 shipped, you really can't go wrong. The stock bushings are made of rubber, so the shifter assembly has a little give when shifting. With the aluminum bushings the assemble stays put. It makes the assembly feel more solid. Definitely recommend.

woah lets not hype it up too much. people might be disappointed. heh.
it does eliminate the play in the assembly, especially when you do a hard shift.
not a necessary mod, but if you're getting a short shifter it compliments it nicely.
a good example of this is:
you got a joystick stuck on a table with rubber suction... now if you yank it hard, the entire joystick will move along with the direction you yank the joystick... now replace those rubber suction and you glue it on the table.. you can now yank the joystick around without extra movement.
thats pretty much what these aluminum bushings do.
