HP Header Groupbuy?
Hello all,
I tried searhing the Group buy and Marketplace section for the Hp Headers and came up with nothing.
I also looked at the Kamikazie header but for the ex it is only a 4-1 shorty header.
So my request is that anybody
that has the hook up with a tuner shop or something to get a group buy going.
Thanks shlomo

I wanted the HP header, but I hear bad things about chrome and I don't like the install much. I'm looking into the Kamikaze now becaue it is a 4-1 with the test pipe eliminating the cat, it comes in a few finishes, black, ceramic and nikel. Also the install is a breeze from what I hear.

Shlomo, you might want to double check on that Kamikaze header. I think there was some discussion about whether or not the one for the EX was a shorty or not. If I remember correctly, the consensus was that the EX header was basically the same design as the one for the DX/LX. PM Flyriceracer. He should be able to tell you. EDIT: Nevermind, I was reading the groupbuy, and the EX doesn't come with the testpipe.

Yep, NO testpipe for the ex. It's just the normal top-portion.
I would be interested in an Hp groupbuy but most don't care for the installation issues. So, I am thinking it would be hard to put together.

Would you all be interested in this?
I'm going to have my shop make a replacement for the cat that attaches to the kamikaze header where it ends. Maybe I could get them to make 10 or so and sell them to those who get the Kamikaze
Input anybody?

I heard stock was running low on the HP's, but someone should check into a group buy for it, that would rock!

I would definately be down for an HP group buy because I have an automatic and the shaving issue doesnt relate to the automatics, only the 5 speeds.

I don't know, we will have to see if any of the other ex owners respond. The shaving issue keeps a lot of people away. Plus, the emissions keeps a lot of people away.
I would be more than happy to lead the buy if there is enough interest.

No, I would not expect you to follow through after the way you dropped the Kamikaze group buy.
Also, on a side note, that post I made in this thread was made before I ended the gb. Next time don't b|tch about a deal or what you are getting and maybe it will happen.
I mean I got you $30 off and you all wanted more so I go and arguewith the guy to get $50 off, then everyone backs out. Your problem is that you like or want to have something without following through on it. This is just like everyone claiming to do a K20 swap when less than 5% will probably ever follow through.
I think you all were just looking for an excuse to back out.

Ummm.......no everyone dropped the gb on me. I had it all setup and then you people back out, ask more questions, complain, yell at me. I can't believe that you treat someone who is trying to help you out like trash.

I asked one or two questiions and I told you I would send my pay pal and when. So please don't include me in that "you" or "you all". If you check with anyone who has bought from me or sold to me, you'll find that I keep my word, and follow through, sometimes even if it costs me some time or extra cash. When you take on something like a group buy, you are assuming a postion of "leadership" and with that comes responsibilties and you just have to take the flack. That's just the way those things are. Dropping the GB was your choice, not mine. I do hope you learned something from that experience. I sure did.
