Rep Power: 0 FlyRiceRacer02 is right, but TYC is the best brand , no doubt. Don't buy matrix, they wont be bright no matter how much effort you put into aiming them right. TYC projectors are the brightest ones you can buy and also do not leak, which is very important

Rep Power: 0 I'm grateful for this post. I just got my TYC projectors today!! Since my car is in the shop and will be for a few days, I won't be able to see how they are. So far the best thing about my TYC projectors is that I got them for free.

Rep Power: 0 I got my TYC's about 2 months ago after an accident too, thanks Allstate ....They are definitely brighter than the stock ones.....They seemed to fog up for like the first 2 weeks I had them but it magically went away......Just when I was thinking of resealing them the fogging stopped so it saved me a major headache....They are defintely the best projectors out there for our car.

Rep Power: 0 Maybe yours didn't leak but mine leaked a lot
and I have heard couple of members saying their projectors leak. But this was way far back when TYC projectors just came out....so the threads might be gone since it has been a while.

Rep Power: 0 Wow, this is the first thread I have read that I notice anyone state the TYCs are better than stock! Brighter? That's good, but what about the beam pattern? Can you actually see better than stock, or are you just making yourself believe that because you paid 200+ for them!? Well, that may not be the case either, some dude in this thread got them for free and likes them also! Hmmmmmm, damn, now I might want them!! I need to drive a damn civic at night that has them already!!!! Has anybody seen a picture of the CHROME TYC projectors on a silver civic? I know the elegantebytyc website shows an angle clip, but I am looking for a straight on shot, and one from the side....A real member ride, not some advertising picture!!
Thanks!
Joe
BTW - Wide body civic..... ...almost looks like a 3 series....kinda...well maybe not...

Rep Power: 0 Brighter than stock???? WRONG! I had the crome TYC projectors for like 3 months and they weren't even close to stock. I had them aligned and everything. I switched back to stock and put Cuzo bulbs in. Brightest light out put I have ever seen with the exception of HID. I will never waste the $200+ on projectors again! Clear stocks all the way.

Rep Power: 364 1. TYC do leak - check the seal (closely), if they haven't yet, give it time. TYC uses cheap sealant which wears away over time.
2. They are brighter than stock (must be aimed properly)
3. They are better than Matirx (IMO)
I would recommend resealing them, but then again.. I got mine when they 1st came out so they might be from a crappy batch...

Rep Power: 0 I actually took about an hour and a half to align them both properly. And if you think that the little projection bulb puts out more light than stock, you're the one puffin the crack pipe. Common sense buddy. A headlight that is the size of an over sized golf ball compared to a headlight opening the size of a mellon? Come on now. The only way that the projection bulb works better than stock is if it has HID lights to project a brighter beam of light. Oh and to add one more thing. This kid that lives in my appartment complex has TYC projects. He had them aligned as well and we just compared our lights side by side a couple of nights ago. No contest. My lights are about 3 times brighter. If you live anywhere in the northeast I'd love to meet up with you to show you.
