I too got free TYC's! Infact, i am waiting for the call to pick my car up now. I got into an accident in the beginning of december (not my fault) and I cut a deal with the Honda dealer that they would replace the OEM lights with the TYC projectors. To make a long story short, the insurance company took so freaking long, they forgot about the conversation we had. They replaced the APC 85w/110w blue bulbs (nice bulbs BTW) int he stock lights..which I will now put in my girls car! They made it all right- and today I will have them.

There was also a problem with the 70.00 35w PIAA foglights I had that went overlooked when my car was in the shop. The started to MELT after the car was repaired!!! So I brought it back to be replaced. Just my luck, they dont make the series I had anymore! So the shop manager hands me a catalog and says pick somthing similar! So i picked the 85w Platinum 200.00 foglights (they look similar) they are being installed as I type,, All on the other ladys insurance companys dime!

My question is,, what bulbs are in the TYC projectors? I know I read H1's But both the High and Low cant be H1.. I want to know what each bulb is. I also notice that noone has the ***** to put the BRIGHT bulbs in (LOL)..just put the freakin 85/110watt ones in. If you get pulled over, say "they were a 500.00 factory option for HID.. same lights come on BMW and Mercedes... Surely you dont pull those cars over..".. You will all be impressed with the APC ILLEGAL bulbs. They are still not quite like true HID, but they do light the hell out of the road.

I was rolling on the 85w/110w bulbs ALL year. I did not get pulled over once. (for the lights)-- I did get a ticket, at night and the cop looked at the lights while looking at the plate, nothin. Now they will go in my girls car. There are so many cars that come with the HID, cops dont know which are legal and which are illegal.

As soon as I figure out what comes in the TYC projectors I will figure out weather I am getting the most illegal bulbs possible..or just trying to pick up a HID conversion.

What about these?

I think they're made by Matrix. They look pretty sweet, and they come with a halo.
Anybody have these? What do you think about them?

slystad810, those lights look cool but totally suck. THey leak and the LED rings burnout.

TYC's are the only projectors to get.

Brighter than stock???? WRONG! I had the crome TYC projectors for like 3 months and they weren't even close to stock. I had them aligned and everything. I switched back to stock and put Cuzo bulbs in. Brightest light out put I have ever seen with the exception of HID. I will never waste the $200+ on projectors again! Clear stocks all the way. [hr]
Are you sure you had the Chrome TYC projectors? I just spoke to Geoffrey from Genera/TYC last week about em and he told me they weren't gonna be released till later this year...

Well.. i drove around with them a bit.. and my first impression is they are brighter than OEM. They will be really cool once I get the same bulbs I had in my OEM lights- in them..

The PIAA 1900X Platinum fog lights are AWESOME.. I had somthing similar from PIAA but they looked like halogen.. the 1900X I swear are true HID... they are that good.
