Well, I am pretty sure that that is a stock header either painted or powdercoated. And the rest could just be a fab job.

I'm thinking the same thing. This is just the stock header.

thats not the stock header.

the pictured header is the LX header. with the cat convertor right below it.

its bigger pipping than the stock header, I have a similiar one... the HP header looks kind of like that too. well, the HP short one.

its probably a no brand one, or made via the same manufacture that makes the HP headers. or OBX headers.

I have the same deal except its chrome and has a sensor plug up there.

I was going to bid for that too cuz it was a pretty good deal for a header with a front pipe.

I wouldn't worry about the brand, as long as it opens up the flow of the exhaust and hopefully give you some more power.

stock pipping is smaller.

thats about all I can see in difference. that and its not ceramic.

course it has to be the same though. how else is it going to fit. heh.

Most all of the shorty headers look exactly like the oem header. The tubes just have a slightly bigger diameter. I have the dc header and you wouldn't be able to tell it from the oe one w/o the coating and a measuring tape. The hp looks exactly the same except the tubes are WAY bigger. I haven't seen the obx in person...

cvc2k2: Make sure you post back and let us know what you think of the it after install. OK??

Edit: Sheeshh..is that lx header ugly or what...man, first thing I would replace if I had an lx model...shessshh

after staring at the pictures of the headers i already purchased.. seems like i have to install the header and the downpipe. the header by itself doesnt have a hole for the sensor. seems like the downpipe has 2 locations for the sensor.. one at the top.. and one after the cat.

the header w/ downpipe is comming in wed. i'll probably have it installed then... or maybe friday morning. i'll try to take pics of my car too..

do you have a ex or lx?

cuz that header should fit fine..

on the ex model, the o2 sensors are on the bottom.. on the downpipe... before the cat.. and after the cat.

the lx is on the header, before the cat... and after the cat.. on the downpipe.
