Are Projector headlights street legal/pass inspect.?

I have a friend and he told me not to get the projector headlights cuz he said they wont pass inspection. I live in Pennsylvania if that matters. Thanx for responding. Appreciated.

I think the jdm are not legal but the tyc are legal. Do you have to get new bulbs and wiring for the headlights?

from what i understand, you do have to get new bulbs, but the headlights come with a wire adaptor... so it would plug right in... but i also could be mistaken

tyc projectors come with everything, they're direct replacements. you can even keep your stock housings intact with bulbs and bulb sockets.

it depends on what state you are in. here in az we aren't even required to have reflectors in the front of the car so even the apc are legal. but some state require you to have atleast a white reflector or an orange reflector.

only the tycs are legal the other ones do not have a amber reflector (which makes them not legal) plus if you get the ones with the blue halo, thats definately illegal.. I got the tycs to avoid the hassel with the pigs. just my $0.02.. sorry its early if my words dont makes sense..

TYC's are Dot approved so they are legal. TYC's come with bulbs (not that bright) so getting new bulbs would be wise. As long as you have the yellow reflector in, you should be fine.

That's my setup... white reflector and blue LED HALO. I've been riding mad five-o's ***** and yet to be pull over. The blue is hardly noticable when lights are on so there's no problems with them.

it should've been in the box, on the side of the "wall" within the box when you extract the lens i hope you didn't throw it away yet,, because the first time it was a bit difficult for me to find. if not, the dot numbers are on the lens itself

I still have the box. My stock lights are in it. I'll have to check tonight.

allniter are these the ones you have (in chrome)?

If so, how do they light up the road, and have you had any problems with them? I'm really thinking about getting these, but I don't want to give up any functionality. How do they compare to the stock lights?
