Class Glass Performance
good news everyone, ive been dealing with a company in maryland for quite some time now and i spoke with the owner last week about something for the 2k1+ civics, hes very interested. i have dealt with him in the j-body market for quite some time and they make one hell of a product. normally they offer a design in 2 finishes, a fiberglass with white gel coat or in a carbon fiber composite. for those of you who dont know what a composite is, its a fiberglass hood with cf laid on top and then gel coated with a clear gel. this gives you the look of cf, ur hood isnt as heavy and you have the strength of the fiberglass. frames are made of fiberglass and are the exact same as stock. first and for most, i would need some ideas on what style of hood we would want made. he currently designs hoods for Dodge and other companies so hes very skilled. you are all more than welcome to check out thier site at www.classglassperformance.com
I AM LOOKING FOR A STOCK HOOD AND TRUNK LID, SOMEONE WHO CAN DONATE EITHER. THIS PERSON WILL RECIEVE THE PRODUCT AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE. EMAIL ME FOR DETAILS.
ANYTHING ANYONE WOULD WANT IN FIBERGLASS OR CF COMPOSITE CAN BE MADE, THIS WOULD INCLUDE GRILLS OR FENDERS. I SIMPLY NEED A PRODUCT DONOR.
ONCE I RECIEVE A DONOR HOOD AND ONE IS MADE, PRICES FOR CF COMPOSITE THROUGH ME RUNS 469 AND FG WOULD RUN 369. THESE ARE RETAILED AT 550 FOR CF AND 450 FOR FG RESPECTIVELY.
on jbody.org i have sold nearly 30 pieces with NO problems whatsoever. they are great fitting and sturdy.
here is the normal gel coat finish on the fg hoods

here is the popular ram air design in cf composite

here is another product, thier shaved trunk lid in CF, they also offer it with a wing

email me any ideas to lucasn@msn.com

I think the person who donates their parts should get the new product free.

It's you, that's a reflection. Look at the lines, they don't meet up.

you also have to realize that the cost the donating party would get the hood at is next to nothing, nearly half of retail. at that price for a high quality hood for donating a stock and contributing to the aftermarket of the 2k1 civics, i think thats more than fair. they even pay to have it shipped to them.
Yeah I agree. If you are going to send them your stock parts that cost about 2-300 new why should you pay for their p[roduct. You are doing them a favor so they dont have to go out and buy the original peices. My friend just donated her stock front and back bumpers for the design of the buddly club 2 kit for the 2k1's and she got the entire kit for FREE. Thats the way it should be.
