Grillcraft lower grill and factory foglights?

Will the grillcraft lower grill fit with the factory fog lights? Has anyone done this mod?

I don't have that setup, but why not just make your own lower grill and go around the factory fog lights. It's a lot cheaper and I think it looks just as good as Grillcraft. I bought one of those APC aluminum grill sheetsw and bought some metal shears and made mine look great. I bet the Grillcraft would work w/ the OEM fogs though.

Look at this pic of the grill, then look at the instructions for OEM fog light installations and maybe you can decide. If the grill doesn't com out to where your light brackets and cut outs are, then it should fit.

OEM Fog Light Installation

Look at the fog light installation and then just measure and see if you have room for them with the grill in place.

This full front pic looks like the Grillcraft covers the entire opening. In that case, you can't use fog lights unless you want to put them behind the grill, probably not a good idea.

See Pic #16.

Actually, I WANT TO put a set of factory foglights behind the grill. I have a set of aftermarket fogs behind the grill and they look good, but I want a set in the factory location. Mine are more towards the center and I think they would look better farther apart. If someone could send me a closeup picture of the factory fogs from a slight angle , I could probably figure out from that.

Might be some on the members rides page or pics on one of the OEM parts dealers pages. In fact some of the dealer pages have the install instructions on PDF and you should be able to find out there for sure.

Somebody out there must have tried this setup. I havent been able to tell for sure from members rides photos. Does anyone know how far the OEM fogs stick out from the edge of the black part of the bumper?
