Silver Stars suck ass!!!!!
Silver Stars suck ***!!!!!
I just picked up the Sylvania Silverstars today. The suck so bad. I'm definately going back to my Cuzos. I'd even take the stock bulbs over these. Biggest waste of $40 ever!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info! I was waiting for my cool blue bulbs to burn out so I could buy some silverstars. Now I'm not so sure. Is there a website to get the Cuzo bulbs from? Info?

I have Cuzos and I don't think they look all that great. They look more blue than like HID. When it comes to bulb life, i've had them for a year now and have had no problems....besides blinding people
i like raybrig very close to HID, used them with the angel eye projector for our cars and have been given good feedback. Everyone thought I bought a HID kit.

I heard that the silver stars were supposed to be whiter and brighter than the cool blues. I have cool blues and they are definately not yellow. Yea, maybe a tad yellow but no where near stock.
If you want blue headlights then get another brand or something. And no, I have never seen a blue-lighted civic that would fool anyone into believing that they were hids.

You said the reason you dont like them is because they dont look anything like HID,which is cool. Did they not light up the road very well? Even though they dont look so good, I would imagine yellowish lights would illuminate better, kinda like flood lights.
Hey gearbox.. or anyone else that has the cool blues.. how bright are they compared to others.. also i used to have the gigalux 6000k.. that was bright and blue.. but had problems with those.. too many burn outs in a month.. more like 2 days after getting them : .. longest for one bulb was like 3-4 months.. so i'm just using these supposed bright white from tucan.. but they are yellow.. any info on the cool blue would help... looking for a blue effect to bright white.. thanks

Cool Blue bulbs are street legal and barely meet photometric requirements. They are bad for driving in rain but look great on dry road at night. They "look" brighter than stock, but at night your eyes just don't see as well with white light as they do with yellow stock light.
The cool blues give out a normal white light (3800K) over the yellow stock light (3200K). There is no blue at all. I like them because they're legal and white. If you're looking for that blue or purple tint like HID, these are not for you. I think they are a good compromise between stock and those other bulbs like PIAA that aren't as bright. So far I've had the cool blues for about a year, and they have even made it through headlight clearing (oven and dropping/shaking).

Thanks for the info... well got them yesterday.. better than the bright white that I had from tucans I believe.. not as yellow.. well i'll stay with these for now.. at least i won't worry about any burn outs so fast.. already wasted too much money on bulbs.. could've used it to buy some rims.. dang.. till next year
