Plugs?

Hey guys I heard that changing the spark plugs to certain high performance ones can somewhat increase your engine response? Is this true? If so what are the best plugs out on the market and what do prices run? Thanks

oh no..4th thread about plugs in a week

Denso Iridium are known for being the smoothest for our cars. I doubt there's ANY hp gain though... Do a search on them. Lots of positive reviews!

What kind should you get? IK20 / IK22 for nitrous

Where? GroupBuyCenter.com $43 SHIPPED (unbeatable)

see the thing with plugs is that they dont give u extra hp. the alow the engine to use its full potential. say your engine is supose to produce 160 hp. its producing 155 hp. new plugs and your up to 160. you just restored enigne performance. no horse power was gain. it was found or recorvered. get what i'm saying?

250 to a tank? what the hell did you do to it? are you driving around at a constant 6k?
I beat on mine and definitly get more than that...I'm getting like 30miles to a gallon with CAI, 4-1 race w/hi flo cat and 2.25 apexi catback...unless you're bottle fed there should be no reason to get such poor milege...

Plugs do give you better gas mileage. Maybe 1-2mpg at the most.

No need to search, just get the Denso Iridium IK20's and put them in.

250 miles per tank? How many gallons do you put in when you fill up? Fill it up, drive till it's time to fill up again, divide the miles you drove by the gallons of gas and that will give you miles per gallon. A little more accurate that way.

Oh for the love of God!

The best plugs performance wise are copper plugs.
The best plugs longevity wise are platinum plugs.

Nickle, iridium, etc. etc. who knows?! All I know is Iridium plugs are prone to break with FI vehicles.
