Prices on USED D17A2?

I searched. I browsed eBay. I'm just curious because if my engine blows, a K20A2 may not be an affordable alternative.

Let's just hope that the D17 can hold out for at least 7 year.

yup..their such a common engine with no real market for them..so scrapyards either sell them to Honda to be rebuilt so they can swap into cars with problems instead of repairing...they are a little hard to find though.

kinda off to the side question, but how much do you think it'd be for just a manual trans, and all parts required to do a AT to MT swap?

I found a d17a2 head w/ intake and exhaust manafolds for under $150 shipped. I was going to buy it and have it ported and pollished but a damn ebay "sniper" got it at the last minute.

What did it have? Just the head? What about the cam shaft? Vales? Valve Springs? Rocker arms? The plastic intake manifold? The stock header?
