camshaft improvements

has anyone put a new camshaft in there car? someone told me you might have to buy new camgears as well. Anyways, what kind of improvements have you seen since installnig it. Where is a good place to get one fairly inexpensive?

From what I've heard its like $80 something for the regrind, but you have to send them your cam shaft. You could also just spend like $300 for a new stock cam shaft that they regrind.

Talking with crower, they said with a cam grind that it not
advisable to use N2O. So for the price and HP gains 8-10 at the flywheel
and probable 2 to the ground, I wouldn't do it.

You can get the same gains by grounding your car with Hot Earth grounding wires

Those grounding wires really do work? Do you know if the Crower cam shaft works well with a turbo setup?

well i was more curious about getting a new performance camshaft. i thought that would prove to be more gains and i've heard that they are around 500 bucks, but dont know.

where is the link to that ground wire? are you sure it gives that much? the camshaft is 80 for non vtec only and 200 for vtec one.
