Headers from APC, Neuspeed, Powertech (D A D)
I not really considering getting one of these, but does anyone have one of these headers, I was just curious if they were any good. BTW I know everyone is going to say get HP, Kamikaze, or DC.

See, it says so right here:
"Kamikaze Nickel Polish Chrome Coating headers offer the most power from any header available. Wiht their unique designs, Kamikaze headers makes 4-5 more horsepower than DC Sports headers. Kamikaze headers are very known to work good with Super Charger system "

Anyhow, who says kamikaze is the best? Most people seem to think hp is the best. Does anyone have any graphs to show which one actually produces more power. EVen if the kam was the best, it's only best for the lx..
Everyone said the dc was crap and didn't produce any gains. I said so myself. It is ever so slightly bigger than the oe header. However, there was a definate increase in power over stock. There isn't anyway to deny it. This is my second honda with the bolt-ons so I know all about them and what they do. The dc definately adds a few hp. I will say I only have one because I got one hay of deal on it used.
If I was going to pick one to go with it would be the hp with high-flow cat. The tubing diameter is huge (much bigger than stock and dc) and it gets rid of the cat.
Yea, it's going to hurt low-end but when was the last time you raced someone and ran the engine under 4k rpm...
my brother gained 3 tenths and 2 mph trap speed with the HP header and no cat
mods are:
AEM CAI
UR pullies
2.25 exhuast
TCS header
old best was 16.2 at 84
new best 15.9 at 86
the car still has more in it considering he gets 2.4 60fts. 2.2's would get hims 15.7's
car is a 2001 LX
edit sorry bout that I got the header mixed up. Its the TCS header from the civicstore.com and no cat

thats pretty good for a LX...
and... for that "ranking" best to worse from FlyRiceRacer02... what do you base that on?
You dont have any of those header on your car, what do you base that on?
especially when one particular header isn't even out yet.

IMO, all these setups wont yield much... but *shrug* my ebay header gave me gains. I was surprised. It wasn't in the head too... course butt dyno isn't accurate, but the RPM climbed faster. thats the only way I could tell.
its not on right now though, I got a bolt stuck in there.. lol. too lazy to drill it out and rethread it.. maybe I'll bring it to a shop.

can anyone translate this one (strainght from kamikazeperformance.com)?
"Also you have the choice of downpipe to fit stock location. Or our full out 2 1/2” outlet downpipe, specialized for supercharged vehicles."
does one of these NOT eliminate the cat?

the kamikaze is just the top part like the dc or is it like the hp one? i have the dc one for a ex and would like it to be bigger. i like the hp setup but don't want to go into the trouble of installing it. if the kamikaze has the down pipe with it and you don't need to cut the motor mount for installation i would go with the kamikaze one. and what is the difference with the black coated one to the rest?
i got a DC header and its ok. dont really feel it till i get on higher rev's .. and thats running the stock downpipe im pretty sure if i get a bigger down pipe it would be better but im too lazy to go get it

I'm getting the Kamikaze just because I need the polished look in my engine bay, seriously!
So, I have a DC Sport stainless steel header for sale if anyone is interested. dmullen@mbhs.org
