OEM Front Lip...........

I am looking into buying an OEM front lip for my civic. The reason is because somehow, the lip on the lower front bumper right before the black grill area got scratched up really bad and I want to cover it up. Will the civic OEM front lip cover up that whole little painted area right between the front spoiler and the black grill? Also, does anyone know the best place to get the OEM front trim? I found it on handaaccessories.com for $213 which is the best I can find, but maybe someone here knows a cheaper place to get it. Thanks!

yes it does. You might want to check out hondawerx.com. They might have a better deal.

I just checked my OEM lip. It completely covers the area of the bumper that you mentioned. It goes up and even rolls back into the black area of the opening there.

Hey bartkat, what if I have a lower grill that covers up to the black part. Will I still be able to install the lip and keep my grill on? I've never seen a car with a oem front lip that had a lower grill. I like my grill!

I had a grillcraft and I could never get it to fit quite right with the OEM lip. I ended up selling the grill. It's close, and you might make it fit with a little work, It just makes a really tight fit.

The lip kinda turns in at the ends of the opening on the bumper and that's also where you have to attach the grill. That's where the problem is.
