Hyper Ground System
Has anyone else ever heard of this. I was reading through my Sport Compact Car magazines and saw the ads. So, I went to the website. Apparantly, through the use of better wires to ground the motor and tranny to the chassis and battery, you can get increases in hp, torque, gas mileage, brighter lights, better idle etc. etc. etc. Does this sound like BS to anyone............ anyone? Or is it just $90 US, to dress up your engine with pretty grounding wires with different colors?

YEAH ! i've seen it in the mags...its basically the same as upgrading with thicker wire isnt it ? it should be....like rerunning some 4 or 1\0 gauge for ground.. most car audio guys upgrade just by useing thicker stuff for ground and alt...cool thing is it looks shiny

Okay, I just wanted to know if I was
screwed up or not. The only question is, will it make a real difference. dunno. But I'm willing to give it a shot. Ultra low impedence or not, any reduction in impedence is always a good thing, right?
I suppose it is good. Hoever I just wouldn't expect much in the way of engine power gains. Right now we have the ground cable going from the battery to ground, and one cable going from the motor to the chasis. Maybe more and bigger wires would be good.
We do know that a poor ground may make a car hard to start, and some of the electical things not work up to par.
If you want to spend the money on it, give it a try. When I can afford something and want to try it, I do it. I have several things on the shelf that didn't work for me, and some still on the car that did work. I don't think anyone can tell you how it will do until you try it. Then you can let the rest of us know how it turned out.
