Intake question...

Found Polished AEM CAI with Bypass for $300 (shipping included)....is this a good enough deal...I tried to access the parts section but for some reason it didn't work....Thanks for the replies.....

Uh, it's an ok deal... The CAI's usually run about 210-225 and the bypass is maybe 40-50. I guess if you tack on shipping, that may bring it to 300. But, I think you can get a better deal. Try Tornactive.com. They have some pretty good deals there.

Some guy posted a linkt to AEM SRI kits for like 90 bucks plus shipping if you want to save some cash, no need for a bypass either. (BTW, has anyone ever encountered a need for the bypass on our cars specific AEM CAI yet?????)

no need for the bypass valve... unless you want to rob your intake of 2-3 hp. by the way...it takes a small pond to immerse the intake all the way into water. Go check ebay for intakes.

You might wanna check out machiii.net.....last time I checked they had the CAI + bypass for $250 shipped....not cheapest around but better than what you found

Your best bet would be to try Tornactive.com, hes been around on the site for quite awhile and usually gives us good hookups on parts, hasnt done us wrong yet. Just ask for Rob.
