Hey, I've been looking around on the internet, and I found something very interesting. On a 2001 Civic LX, below the Radio/Tape player, there's an empty slot right? On some pics I've found on the internet of the same model, they have a cover plate over that empty slot? Does anyone else with a 2001 LX model have that feature? My car didn't come with it, I was wondering where I can go to buy it?

well, that comes on the cd player from honda, so it usually is only for the ex, b/c it is standard. But I'm not sure if you can get just the plate without the cd player too... And trust me, the stock cd player is way too $$, and is not good... WHy don't you just get a navigation system with an in-dash display? [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

just kidding, although that is what I've been wanting to do...

got to Honda you can get one from the dealership its bascially a plug in cover

i wouldnt now, i have a honda tape deck in the place of that, got it as an addition with the cd player

Why don't you build a switch board or some other cool thing there??? That's what I want to do, but I don't want to take out the cover...

I have a 2002 LX and mine came with the little door under the tape player, maybe its 2k2 or he just got that mount from the factory.
