the D17 with VTEC (EX models only)

Getting a controller is only noticable that your wallet will be lighter.
VTEC engages at 1500 rpms and about 20mph. It will stay on if you are driving your car like a racer, but if you slowy upshift before 3000rpms VTEC will turn off. At 63mph, VTEC stays on.

In my opinion, a VTEC controller is a waste of money for the 7th gens since there is no noticable gain. If your car is not on a dyno when your programming a VTEC contrtoller, you most likey will lose power.

If the controller was a gain, everyone would have one like they do a cold air intake.

VTEC controlers are only useful if you have major modifications on top of it (read: standalone ECU w/ FI, nitrous and/or built internals.) If thats not your care its a WASTE OF MONEY.

BTw smash your left testie with a rubber mallet for saying "V-TECH"
