Summertime? Or Wintertime?
This is another tinting question...^^;;
I heard you can't open windows for like 3days after you get ur windows tinted.
So i was wondering if it's better to get it during summer time or winte time?
Maybe too much UV lights would cause bubbles...or turn them purple...?

uh.. your actually going to wait till summer time to get your windows tinted? that just dumb to me... summer/winter same ish.. i would even think winter is better anyways since at summer you want the windows open. i know theres the ac but you still open it to let all the hot air out. and winter in cali isnt even that cold... but ya who cares.. winter/summer makes no difference

oh and mine was 1 day, not 3
as for bubble/purple... alot of the tint nowadays are metallic and have a lifetime warranty on fading/bubbling. these usually run around 150. the cheaper 80 ones only have like a 3 year warranty which is still pretty long seeing how thats the average length a person keeps their car... let the other person worry about it.

I did my own tint and I think it depends on the quality of the tint and the quality of the job more than anything else. I guess the windows themselves and how well they seal against the rubber gaskets comes into play too. I squeezed out all of the water from under the tint. I mean all of it. It was bone dry when I was done. I also used the highest quality tint that I could buy. I waited one day and I could roll up and roll down my windows all I wanted. I razored the edge too, so it looks perfect with the windows down.
I think the temp is important when the film is applied and for the first few hours afterward. My tint guy has a heated garage, and the car could jjst be left inside for a few hours.
If you do in the summer, don't you have air condition? Besides, I leave my windows up almost all the time, cause it looks cool with the tint.
PS:
Even in the winter if it's sunny and you park in the sun, your car will warm up inside. Just be sure to turn it around a couple times to get sun on both sides.
