hp header for sale

is this the right header - and where can i get the hi-flo cat

thats not the HP header...

its this header that this guy on ebay was selling.. I dont see it around anymore though.. I guess he ran out of stock...

I'm not sure of the brand, I'm guessing OBX cuz the guy sells OBX stuff (the other guy)

I bought that header too... for 98 shipped to me.

well.. it works good... too bad I have problems with it, (ie: my stock honda bolt got stuck and snapped off on the header.. I'm in the long process of getting it out.. kinda lazy)

I actually felt an increase in low-end! it wasn't in my head!

the engine bay gets really hot though... and if you are going to install one.. I suggest replacing the honda grade 5 bolts with grade 8 bolts.

and get a header wrap...

header wrap is like an ace bandage for the header, if you will. what it does is keep the heat inside of the header by acting as an insulator so it doesnt heat up the ambient air in the engine compartment. i HIGHLY reccomend wrapping your header..

also, its main function is: by heating up the header... the exhaust fumes in the header moves faster and exit outta the header chamber faster...

it works.

but it does have its bad side... which I've heard that it will decrease your header lifetime... its putting a lot of stress on it.
