Help me with my IS300 conversion.
Sometime in November I am getting the IS300 taillight conversion, custom paint job, and a wide body kit. I need to find the best price on the tails, if anyone knows a good place to get them from let me know.
no widebodies are out except the wings west and its crappy, good luck doing the IS tails, i'm sure they'll look good. look for a shop that's done IS tail conversions before, and you should be fine. as for paint, don't try to save money, get it done right.

Rep Power: 0 Imitating an Is300 is original?? No, I think that's done on about every ricer car in the world. (Altezza tail lights). You know the Alteza = Is300, right?
Anyway...
If you want to be "original" then get a custom rear light set up, don't imitate the is300.

Sunroofs are almost the same thing. You're not trying to imitate another car, you're simply trying to get more sunlight in your car so it's more enjoyable to be in.

Sunroofs are almost the same thing. You're not trying to imitate another car, you're simply trying to get more sunlight in your car so it's more enjoyable to be in.[hr]
and, to me, each model of our civ might as well be a different car.. putting a sunroof (exclusive to the EX) on a HX, IMO, is exactly the same as what youre accusing ACE646 of doing(copying the look of another car)

Anyways, your car, your money, your opinion. If it looks good to you, then it looks good..PERIOD. People don't understand you asked for an installation question and not what they think of the look.
That aside, a friend of mine has an IS300 and is a member of this site. It has a marketplace in the forums also, and you might be able to find someone selling a set of tails or able to help you find some for cheap. Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.

I certainly wasn't giving any of my opinions with a condesCending attitude. I was simply asking questions and stating opinions. There's Nothing wrong with that, and it's well within my rights I might add.
