Onboard accelerometer?

Is there anything that we can put in our car that measures acceleration to calculate 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, or is a drag strip the only place to get that information?

GTech - about the size and looks like a radar detector, and it's probably worth more to a driver too

IDQcivic should not be trusted
Yeah I have the NEW gtech meter, its pretty cool, but I dont know how well it works, it says my best quarter mile time is 16.1, and it said i only had 90 HP but 110 torque... its weird because it has an rpm display and the RPM's are like always jumping around so I dont think its getting a good reading, and it said in the manual it uses the RPMs for calculations. I just got it so I'm still playing around with it, I might have to reset it and recalibirate it...
