I actually did have an aftermarket **** for awhile

the one thing I like about the oem shifter though.. it's comfortable to rest my hand on it while using the armrest. that's why I switched from that back to the stock one. eventually that boot will out grow me.. I know it looks rice if you like how that pic looks, I'll sell you the shifter for $10 shipped... still in like new condition. have no use for it now. you will need to shave the grey cylinder at the top of the oem shift boot to get it to fit properly. I believe I bought the shift boot from here.. but I guarantee hondawerx.com will beat that price

- just what i was thinking
while you're at it, you might as well stick another pedal to the left of the brake pedal so that it'll look like you have a clutch. or you can just except the fact that you're car is an automatic and leave it alone and have pride in what you drive.

why you people think everything is rice??? everyone wants to customize their cars their own way...if they like that look then ok fine with it...its not bothering you...making the automatic shifter look like a stick is just a way to personalize the way your car looks...so stop getting on everyone's nutz just cuz you don't like what they done to their ride...peace

hey.. what's up with this negativity.... lilasiian just wanna have fun... i did this to my accord before i got a civic... and i thought it was kinda wacked.. but it was hella fun... it might have been ricey.. but when i used to valet my car... and see those valet people looking for the clutch.. and use my automatic like a stick cracked me up... was it ricey? maybe.. but it was all worth the effort.. cause it was so funny.. even when i was getting a car wash.. they would always try to look for a clutch before they start up the car.. that was funny... but anyways this is what i did... i got the factory boot from a honda dealer.. cause the manual boot fits right in to the automatic... and for the shift ****.. razo sells a shift **** that has no button on top... instead you push the whole **** down and move it up or down to shift from p,r,n,d... etc... the link for the shift **** is... http://209.87.151.155/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=RA-94 hope this helped...

hehe thats what i just said
Trust me, don't do this. Every time we get a car into the shop like this (wannabe manual cars), all the service advisors and techs always comment on how ghay it is. Same thing with having a huge monster tach on a totally stock engine, or worse, having a huge tachometer (with shift light) on an automatic.
I drive a Manual... it's alot more fun to drive... but i sure the H3ll wouldn't want to make it look like an automatic.... that's the basis of eh hem "ricers" isn't it? Trying to make a car something it's not? (ie: Type-R stickers) ... AHHH I don't know. I have nothing aginst automatics, and niether should you... but it's your car. Make it as gawdy as you want.

There's really nothing wrong with it, plenty of autos now come with a leather boot over them... BMW has it to the point where it almost looks like a stick. Get an Isotta shift boot. They don't have round tops on them, and are designed to be free standing of any **** they are attached to. They go for between 35 and 40 dollars and look real sharp. They sell them at www.maniaracing.com, and also at www.obbnmotorworks.com. I've dealt with OBBN a few times and they're great to work with. The Isotta stuff may not be on their website yet, but they do have it in stock (as of about 3 weeks ago). You can buy them in 2 tone also. I almost bought one, but opted for the MOMO boot that screwed into the bottom of my MOMO ****.
