body kit question

body kit question

I just recently got a octane body kit, and it is white....It has some scratches on it, now do i have to sand it down, put bondo on it, what do i have to do, i will attach a pic of the side skirt for u, and u let me know what to do with it before i get it painted...would it be better to put on the car or get it painted then put it on the car? Let the body shop repair it before they paint it. The get it back and install it.

This is a new kit? No, they shouldn't come like that. They should come in protective packaging, boxes with dividers and wrapped in protective plastic and stuff. My OEM kit came in 3 boxes and was in perfect condition. I thought maybe you bought this one used.

I think I'd send it back if it came in new like that.

i wont let yah have it cuz your upset but i hope you learned your lesson. that is what you get for buying fiberglass. they always say made from high quality firberglass i say up their [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] never, never get firberglass. the octane kit comes in urathane. return it and get it in urathane. that all i can say. sorry if i dint help ya

yes fiberglass is the most easily repairable product made. u can rip it in half and still fix it i would line it up with ur car first to make sure it fits, common for octane to be short
