No you won't be legal with just an amber bulb. In order for a car to be legal, it needs an ORANGE REFLECTOR in the front. Those light can be legal or illegal. If you don't put some type of orange reflector on the front of the car, you are technically running illegal. You can buy sticky orange reflectors at places like pep boys. If you look at the TYC projectors (all of which are legal) they have an orange reflector.
Also those are our headlights, just cleared. Don't waste your money on them and do them yourself.

I can't see why those are illegal, I mean if the new Mercedes Benzs' don't have a orange reflector, does that mean they should stop making the newer models? I would have to say just as long as you have a reflector, like the stock one when you clear out your headlights, there is a clear reflector. And just put amber turn signal bulbs. The stock ones are not amber.

That benz does not have a relfector in the light, but it does have one on the front bumper integrated with a turn signal. You can see it right in front of the wheel. And yes that benz does have a white turn signal. Most states (i don't know about Cali) allow a white or an amber turn signal. So leaving the signal white is fine, but you do need an orange reflector.

Hey wassup...im pretty sure they are legal...because i had took my car in to the san gabriel police department to have my fix it ticket signed off (no liscence plate on front bumper) and after the signed it off...he told me that my headlights were really nice...and asked if the bulb in the headlight was amber...so i turned on the light and showed it to him...and that was it...im almost positive if my headlights were not legal he would have wrote me up for another fix it...since that specific department is notorious for doin so...so yeah hoped that helped

Amber reflector? You're talking about side markers, correct? They don't have to be in the headlight housing. You can put separate ones on the fender. Just look at the other models with the separate side marker lights.

I believe you need amber front side and red rear side markers per DOT in all states.

THAT IS WHAT I SAID!!!! WHy won't anyone read what i posted. And no i did not mean the sidemarkers. I just meant that there needs to be some kind of amber reflector in the front of the car whether it be in the lights or on the bumper.

Well yes they are illegal but I don't know one person who has got a ticket for no orange reflector. Yeah my old 88 civic the clear corners didn't even come with a clear reflector so had those for like 5 yrs or more and all hyperwhite on those. My new civic has clear headlights and still no issues and they are PIAA Xtremes all around.

If a cop has you pulled over he could mess with you, but besides that its like a front plate they usually wont just pull you over just for that atleast around here thats how they are
