ok yo heres the deal im planning on getting a new exhuast system and header but i have and LX. ive seen and read that u can get EX exhaust and header to fit on an LX but u have to sum custom work. please tell me everything i need to know about doing this shiitt

youll need to take it to a muffler shop or some place that can make custom bent exhaust pipes. theyll charge you probably 60-90 bux for the custom downpipe and header installation.

You would have to get a cat to fit at the bottom of the car. The LX cat is in the header while the EX it at the bottom of the car.

I wonder if you can get the EX header + EX cat back exhaust and everything will fit like a EX for the LX?

depends on the cat back and header u got..

I know for sure u gotta swap out the front sway bar for a EX front sway bar though. that thing gets in the way supposely.

DO NOT GET AN EXHAUST MADE FOR AN EX AND TRY "N" FIT IT ON THE LX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i bought the skunk2 for my lx and i brought it to the muffler shop to have them install it. its not worth the money and your exhaust system will be s-h-i-t. when they make the extra 4 feet of pipe it will be made from a different material ( i fogot - brain fart) and it will rust. the only good pipes are from the companies that use lasers to bend the pipes. your exhaust will be crap. just buy the one that will the the lx and avoid all the problems. i jsut returned my skunk2 and got the thermal R&D. its coming in this week if the hurricane doesn't hit. call nick at massimo performance. they jsut got a new shipment of the thermals for $495. great service!
