Anybody using K&N drop-in filter?

Anybody using the new K&N drop-in filter yet? Released last month or something, but haven't heard any experiences yet?

Or has anybody used a K&N drop-in in previous cars?

I have had K&N drop in filters in every car I have ever had and was never let down. As for my civic I am debating between the drop in filter and the FIPK, only thing I am worried about is messing with my warranty. I know the drop in filter does not affect it but still not sure about the FIPK, I have a friend at the dealership but is on vacation so I am waiting for him to return to make my decision.

You won't mess up the warranty... Just do it.

I'm planning to go for the K&N drop-in replacement filter, but the only problem is that it is still pretty new and hard to find in Canada. I am currently exchanging e-mails with some U.S. online stores to see if they can ship up here...

Part no. 33-2192, bought online from http://www.martelbros.com, $40 shipped.

Have had it for a week and have noticed improved response all throughout the powerband, especially at higher rpm's.

Good $40 investment.

I asked my Honda dealership a month ago about some things... (ie. FIPK and cat-back) They told me both will void my warranty on every aspect except the power windows... I don't really understand why they said that as they rushed me off the phone... but whatever. I want to know what your friend has to say.

WTF??!! Drop that zero dealer and take your car to another one. Mine allows any mods as long as they install them--which works out good because I get to keep the warranty.
