Just put on an exhaust, now I have a problem

I just put on a skunk2 exhaust. At low RPMs, the car has a lot of vibration that i can feel through the seat and shifter. I found that the pipe directly below the seat is vibrating against the car. Has anyone had this problem and what have you done to fix it. I can't just get different hangers because the hangers for this part of the exhaust are welding onto the piping. Thanks for any help.

ak can only hope to improve
I guess just take it to the muffler shop, they should be able to move the pipe a bit.

I just got my custom 2.25" piping done last night and it doesn't rub/hit the car.

you CAN get longer exhaust hangers!! I mean the rubber hanger things, just go to Napa.. I had to get some longer ones so my exhaust didn't melt my rear bumper. It worked like a charm.

My car did that the first day i picked it up from the dealer... with the stock exhaust... they told me to run it for 2000 miles and it would stop... when i looked under the car, I could see the midpipe shaking around, but it went away just a couple weeks ago when i hit around 2000 mi. They said it was common with all the cars on the lot. I still don't understand the logic of it but, oh well it worked... just sharing my story

I have the SKunk2 cat back exhaust and I have had that exact same problem. I just let it go but it stopped after about a week. So dont worry about it.
