4 Auto stores later, I am still missing 2 things...
First is the Uni-Grit Sanding Block... is this thing? and can I just put 1500 grit wet/dry sand paper on a block and do it that way?
Second, what the hell is Car Shampoo?? NO ONE has ever heard of this stuff. Is this just someone's pet name for car wash soap?

They aren't scratches. They're gashes down to the metal. They need to be touched up, not polished out.
