for those with greddy exhausts only
It was the second thing i put on my car after the CAI and i have no complaints. it has a nice low growl not a motorcycle pitch. When you are at a constant speed it's not annoying and when you hit it, it sounds great. Good choice with the EVO.

a great exhaust. I love it and with my dc headers they seem to work extremely well. I'm gettinig a lot more low end and even great high end power. If you don't have headers I would suggest you get them and install both at once,
good luck
good luck
pretty satisfied with mine, never scraped yet either, lowered on Neuspeed sports too
nice tone, but i did lose low end, but gained high end...
guess i need some headers to counter that low end

As with all cat-back systems on a relatively low-powered engine such as ours (even the EX), a cat-back system will reduce the "off-the-line" grunt but will free-up the power at the higher speeds.
The stupid part of the Greddy EVO is that it's so dang heavy! Whatever happened to "weight-savings"? The system probably weighs twice the stock exhaust system.
Nonetheless, the fitment is good and allows for a pretty aggressive rear underbody spoiler because the tip sits about a full inch from the arch-center of the exhuast cut-out).
I'm running the HKS Hiper and have found it to be the best of both worlds. Maintain all the low-end (possibly even improve) and breathe easier at higher speeds.
In all reality cat-back exhaust systems on naturally aspirated small four cylinder engines are more for show and sound than performance.
But...since ya already spent the money, as I did, may as well slap the sucker on and go for a ride.
