yah it goes inside the car right behind the front seats...it rests against the floor area of the backseat...like against the wall part under the seat so the people in the back seat shouldn't be affected by it

the other infamous brand, aerospeed whatever... has that too...
floor bar...
do u guys know where it mounts too? well, the aerospeed one anyway.. it mounts to where the seatbelt bar is... the thing holding the seatbelt together...
its another worthless item... if it at least ties together some other points, more solid points... it may stiffen up the chassis more..
but stiffer isn't necessary better too. and I doubt this thing is accomplishing anything but looks.
Bomzracing? thats just a brand the generic manufacture came up with.... they're all generic stuff, its just, they figure they should label a brand, polish the bar and bracket a bit more, and throw it off as a brand name item...
on another note, I don tthink people know how suspension tunning works... I dont either. but I do know stiffer isnt always better... I've tried my best to figure out how suspension works, but so far I only know the basics... and its also because of my lack of experience as a driver... I mean I see all these threads with people asking does strut bar make a difference? does tie bar? does blah blah bar? make what KIND of difference? better differences? of course stiffening up your chassis will make a difference in the handling characteristic... but is it good difference? is it the differnece YOU want? do you even know what kind of difference? does it understeer less? or oversteer more? or is it more neutral now? does it ride differently?
for example, I choose the rear 19mm rsx sway bar because I dont think the stock's 12mm is enough at all. i felt like the car isn't taking those turns right, it feels like there's too much understeer... now I'm no engineer... but I do know that the rear bar needs to be replaced with something a bit thicker (heck, even honda made it thicker, they changed it to 13mm in 02, and added it on for the LX and HX) and I got the result I wanted from the 19mm rsx rear sway bar... some go for the 22mm type r bar... but I think thats too much for me..
but does anyone know the cons of adding in thicker sway bars? because there is.... true. your straight line performance isn't affected, and thats the beauty of sway bars... but by tying together your rear lower control arms, your independent suspension becomes less independent... a bump you feel on the right rear wheel may be felt over to the left.. or more through out the rear...
anyway, I'm going on. I dont know why I'm talking about this. I just want people to know I guess.
and yeah, there's more to it then that, but I get confused myself cuz I'm not too bright on these things...
I do know however that the floor bar thing is just a waste of money... unless u want to show your passenger how cool the floor of the car looks with a bar..
and if they're not stupid, they wouldn't design it with a hump since we dont have 'em. thats just probably a sample picture though. ur best bet is to contact the seller.

I've got the arospeed one... the red one! I got a good deal on it so I figured why not! It mounts to the seat belt bolts. I had to drill some new holes and modify it a little but it looks nice. The seat belt bolts screw right into the frame so that is a good spot for support, it basically ties the whole middle of the frame together. I think it helped a little. And it needs that curve in the middle for our cars beacuse the center console sticks out in the back a little so i have the curved part flat on the floor and the drink holder in the back can still open.
