Racing Hart C5 3 peice
I have noticed an incredible deal on the 17x7.5 Racing Hart C5 3 peice wheels. It was going for $1300 for a set of brand new wheels w/ tires. the only downside is that it comes in an DOMESTIC lug pattern 5x108. I was planning to buy the wheels and bring it to a professional wheel shop for them to drill 4 more holes. 4x100. The wheel shop said they would charge me $75 per wheel and guarantee that the wheels will balance true but will not guarantee any structural damage on the wheels. so what do you guys think? i found the deal at wheelmax.com. i believe once i have accomplished this... my wheels will have 9 lug holes. 5x108 and 4x100
4 x $75= $300 + $1300= $1600
How is this a good deal?
Ummm....
Go with 4 lug

well... the C5 3 peice is discontinued. the only C5 still in production are the evos. i just wanted to get a rare 3 peice new rim for my car. when C5's 3 peice were in production, each 17x7.5 rim retailed for $600 a peice. so... lets say... it drops to $450 each...... X 4... comes out to $1800 without tires... but like i said... they are no longer in production... so is it worth it? am i getting ripped off?? all in my preferance... the issue i asked was regarding would the structure of the rim be stable if 4 additional holes were drilled onto the wheel. tell you this.... when i get it... i know many will envy me when i have these low production JDM wheels.

I haven't have any problems with my universal lugs 1piece-m5.. and I think they are just as stable as any other rims I've had in the past..
drill more holes ? -- Don't do it!
