Ceramic vs Stainless steel headers?

What are the disadvantage and advantages or each. I have DC sports Ceramic headers and I'm just wondering if it would make a diffrence with stainless. Of course stainless looks better and cost more but will it make a diffrence?

Supposedly, ceramic is more thermally-efficient and will not loose/radiate as much heat as the stainless header.

IMO, in our cars it would not make that much difference anyway, so if you like ss better, then I say go ahead and get it.

SS will be more durable since it is made from harder steel. It will also last longer than the coated ones which are made from a mild steel. I don't know if one creates more power than the other, but its going to depend where you live. Salt and snow removal chemicals will eat up a ceramic coated one faster than a SS one.

ceramic is better if your actually interested in increasing the performance of your car.(which i've noticed most on this site really arn't) ceramic will keep your engine bay cooler, therefore decreasing intake air temp and lowering operating temps. howerever, stainless will last longer and look better.

The two largest differences:

1. $$$$$$
2. Quality of Material

S.S. is more corrosion resisitant but WILL rust over time...it will just probably outlast the ownership of your car and will also change color on you due to heat influence....which I hate that look. Cermaic, if coated properly,.. will give you the best value for you dollar by far!!!.....as well as give you protection...if you live in a relative dry state or mild climate..Cermaic is your best choice IMHO!!....Strenght wise,...there really isn't a concern on either..both steel poperties are plenty strong..unless you're slammed and severly bottom out or something on that nature..Peace!
