NOS Octane Booster
hey you guys I just bought this NOS Octane Booster (racing formula), which boosts the fuel points by about 7. I already use Supreme Chevron gasoline daily. I have tried doing research about this prodcut on the net and these forums but have come up with pretty much nothing. Does anyone have experience using this stuff? The one I bought also has "Nitro Methane" . I was wondering if it would be safe to put in our cars. I lost my car manual, and I'm not even sure it would specify what the safe levels of methane in our fuel is. So any help or opinions would help. The instructions also say a bottle treats up to 16 gallons of fuel; would it be pointless to just test out 1/2 a bottle at once? thanx again

aight thanx you guys. and thats true about it being harmful to the engine. but thats a risk we take with almost every modification to our engines. oh well, i guess i will just try it out in the next couple days and let you guys know if there is any noticeable difference... or if my engine blew up. lol peace

what a waste...our cars were tuned and meant to run regular gas (87) not 89,92 94, and especially above 94...
so your just wasting ur time and money, and especially if ur running on stock internals and no modifications (intake doesnt count IMO) then you are being foolish and stupid, just my $00.02
our cars were simply not meant for high octane gasoline

woohoo Intelligent people!!!! thanx you guys for the info. well it was just one of those things that looks like it might work and why not.. only $10 lol. and of course ill only do it a few times; and if i see any real gains from it, only use it when i go to the races. but otherwise i go through about 2 or 3 tanks of gas a week on average; so i wont have to worry about it being left in my tank peace
