Unfortunately the DCS is a heavy boy. Which is why I ended up holding off on getting it myself, in the meantime I spent the money on other stuff.

To get the right amount of power vs the weight, you are going to have to go with one of the cannister type cat-backs and put up with the extra noise. I am also concerned about the weight issue as I open track my car and need all the help I can get to decrease my times. And I am not a fan of the loud ricey sound that most cannisters make.

If you don't mind not going cat-back, you could pick up a good universal muffler like the Apexi WS, and have custom piping done. Since our cars are so hard to get HP from with most exahusts, you can almost just get something like that instead of a cat-back if you are going for a sound and looks thing as much as performance.

However if you want performance, a tunable cannister is your best choice.

DC sports TCS dynoed at something like 1.8 Hp gain! That isnt all out performance to me especially considering the added weight. All I have to say is that it BETTER sound good. 550 dollar good

i always think that, but dont know why people pay so much for it!
i personally dont like the way it looks, nor the performance gains, plus its one of the heaviest cause of all that twin canister stuff....

I love these kinds of threads...everyone trying to push their exhaust choices on someone...take suggestions, yes, but do what you want, be original!!!
