Nice, the generic kind on ebay (AC style) cost $35. A friend of mine has them and they work well so far.
Nice gauges, now go fill some gas.

hahaah - thanx guys - i went to go fill up right after that.
those are the AC Autotechnic reverse indiglos - the box said they were EL gauges. Whatever - I like em - currently I have em set on blue cuz i like it better that way.
They cost me $69 from importtrenz.com
installing them was pretty easy - just follow krepoort's DIY. Just be careful not to bend them too much when u install - mine formed cracks and now i can see faint lines of indiglo where the cracks are.

Thanks.
Um, they are from www.procarparts.com. I think they are great. Special features? Ehh, they turn to green, sort of, and they get brighter....

EL stands for "electro-luminescent" which is the accurate description, since that is the method these gauges use to light up in different colors.
Indiglo is actually a term trademarked by Timex, who first introduced the world to "indiglo" with their electro-luminescent watches about a decade or so ago. Like so many other brand names, it has come to represent the actual product, like "Rollerblades", "Kleenex", etc.
There...I feel useful now.

I like those autotechnic gauges. They look awesome and the blue seems to go well with the orange needles. I just might have to pick some up.
Do all the markings and everything line up perfectly? I wouldn't be able to stand it if the sped or tack was even a mm off.

as far as i can tell they line up perfect. Just make sure you line them up, and then put some double stick tape on the back so they dont move on you.
hey krepoort - i wasnt moving yet so thats why i didnt have my belt on. I always wear my belt. in fact i would not be alive today if i didnt.
and yea - i like mine better than the other ones posted by 2001CivicLX simply because i can dim AND change colors (two separate controls). there's more glow to them. On the other hand - mine are white face - those other ones seem to be silver face. silver is better looking than white - oh well.

I was thinking about getting some. How much and where did you buy them? Hard to install?
